At Claddagh Pub and Restaurant, the inviting atmosphere of a favorite local tavern meets critically acclaimed cuisine with an uptown flair. The welcome is Irish, but the menu highlights flavors of the Chesapeake region and beyond. Discover for yourself why the Claddagh, named for enduring Celtic symbol of friendship, loyalty and love, inspires those very same qualities among discerning Baltimore diners.

“Upscale cuisine…delicious food” lauds Bobby Flay of the Food Network.

Misty fables surround one of Ireland 's unique treasures, "The Claddagh," a symbol of love, friendship and loyalty.

Some 400 years ago in a fishing village called Claddagh, over-looking
Galway Bay , close to the city of the tribes, lived Richard Joyce, a Master Goldsmith. It was he who crafted this now famous design that has become part of our unique heritage.

The ring worn on the right hand, crown turned inward, tells your heart is yet unoccupied. Worn with the crown turned outward, it reveals that love is being considered. Worn on the left, with the crown turned outwards, it shows that your heart is truly spoken for.
